MICHELLE JUBELIRER TO DELIVER KEYNOTE AT JUMP.GLOBAL SUMMIT

Former Capitol Music Group boss Michelle Jubelirer will headline the keynote conversation at jump.global’s Annual Summit.

Taking place 11/17-20 at The LINE Hotel in L.A., the personal and professional development conference and retreat brings together hundreds of music industry professionals, with a mission to “make the music business more human” through discussions about mental health, wellness, financial literacy, leadership, effective communication and more.

Jubelirer’s session, Change Management: A Keynote Conversation, will be moderated by Bill Werde, director of the Bandier Program at Syracuse University. The discussion will address managing change in the industry, maintaining focus amid chaos and the evolution of leadership, including Jubelirer’s own career path. Jubelirer made history as the first woman in Capitol's 80-year history to hold the top job.

The summit, now in its second year, will also feature such speakers as Virgin Music Group’s Jacqueline Saturn, SESAC’s Samantha Saturn, 24/7 ArtistsYudu Gray Jr. and Davina Thomas, and The Fowlkes Firm/EVGLE’s Karl Fowlkes.

“In February this year, I read a statement from Michelle Jubelirer that said ‘My belief in artists and commitment to helping their dreams is unwavering. No matter my job, or job title, that’s how I define myself and strive to conduct myself every day and in every decision I make.’ That’s the moment I knew we had to have her speak at the jump.global Annual Summit,” said org founder/CEO Nick Maiale. “Our industry can sometimes place immense focus on ego, title, status and company affiliations, and we often lose sight of why we got into this business in the first place… the music.”
