Nice Life/Atlantic's The Marías, who've achieved some success as L.A. alt-rock darlings, are approaching new territory with fast-rising cut "No One Noticed."
The breakout single from sophomore album Submarine, released on 5/31, has been steadily climbing Spotify's U.S. chart over the last month. "No One Noticed" is now approaching the Top 50 and with 50m streams amassed already, is on its way to becoming The Marías' most-streamed song.
They earned a Grammy nomination (Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical) with their 2021 debut, Cinema, and Submarine should be a contender in the Rock categories, with the group taking an artistic leap, blending dream-pop and light rock, which has earned it comparisons to Beach House and the xx.
Lead singer María Zardoya is one of the genre's brightest young stars and one of the few vocalists in rock who sings in both Spanish and English. The Marías have collaborated with Bad Bunny, Tainy and Young Miko.
The quartet will end the year, which included a sold-out headlining run in North America and Europe, with December dates supporting Billie Eilish on her HIT ME HARD AND SOFT Tour.
