As Hurricane Helene bears down on the southeast, with forecasts describing "catastrophic" Category 4 impact when it makes landfall in Florida, our thoughts are with our friends in the region.
Reports are that the National Hurricane Center anticipates that Helene, which could be the strongest hurricane to hit the U.S. in more than a year, will produce "inundation... as high as 20 feet above ground level, with destructive waves."
