DEEPFAKE THIS!

The Human Artistry Campaign has taken out a POLITICO ad that names more than 300 artists and actors who've joined the organization's fight against the unethical use of AI. Aimee Mann, 21 Savage, Black Thought, Devo, Dave Matthews Band and Reba McEntire are just a few of those supporting the NO FAKES ACT, a bipartisan, bicameral bill with the momentum to pass Congress and be signed into law.

The NO FAKES Act would create a federal intellectual-property right to likeness and voice and accelerate the push for protection against AI deepfakes, voice clones and other unauthorized digital replicas. It would also establish a system of accountability and enforcement.

The Human Artistry Campaign supports the advancement of responsible AI. Over 180 organizations in 34 countries have united to protect every form of human expression and creative endeavor. Fortunately, nobody wants to pretend to be us—ever.
