BARRERA, BUNNY, KAROL G LEAD LATIN GRAMMY NOMINATIONS

Songwriter and producer Edgar Barrera leads the nominations for the 25th Latin Grammy Awards with nine. Bad Bunny and KAROL G follow with eight noms apiece. Barrera, KG and Carín León are the only artists to score nominations in all of the Big 3 categories.

Barrera was acknowledged for his work on albums by KAROL G and León and received nods for Record and Song of the Year for KAROL G's "MI EX TENÍA RAZÓN." He's also up for Songwriter of the Year and Producer of the Year.

Rimas' Bad Bunny has eight nominations in the urban and reggaeton categories, competing against himself in several instances. He received one nod in the Big 3, with "Monaco" contending for ROTY.

Bichota/Interscope's KAROL G is present in ROTY, SOTY and AOTY. She has a chance to repeat in AOTY with MAÑANA SERÁ BONITO (BICHOTA SEASON), the follow-up to 2023's winner.

Several artists secured four nominations, including Virgin/Island's León, 5020's Kany Garcia, Universal Latino's Feid and ICLG's Kali Uchis. Shakira, Peso Pluma, Mon Laferte and Jorge Drexler are among the acts with three.

León, Peso Pluma, Natanael Cano, DannyLux, Grupo Frontera and Michelle Maciel are nominated in the inaugural Best Contemporary Mexican Music category.

The awards ceremony will air 11/14 live from Miami on Univision. Final-round voting begins on 9/27.
