PEREZ CAPTAINS AN INDIE SMASH
Indie singer-songwriter Gigi Perez has one of the fastest-rising tracks in the last month with “Sailor Song.” The acoustic-rock number reached new peaks globally and in the U.S. on Spotify on 9/8, rising to #49 and #20 respectively. “Sailor” has racked up 68m streams on Spotify alone in six weeks.
Perez, repped by Dana Salant at Laffitte Management, is resonating especially on TikTok, where “Sailor Song” has been used in nearly 250k creations.
