SOFI TUKKER SKATES INTO METAVERSE WITH SPLASH, ROBLOX

SOFI TUKKER will lure fans into the metaverse on 8/30 when the duo stages a one-of-a-kind performance and meet-and-greet on Roblox.

Bandmates Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halperin will host the event in celebration of their new Virgin Music Group album, Bread. They’ll perform their new single, “Woof" (feat Kah-Lo), and visit Roblox’s Splash Skate + Music area to share tokens and take part in gaming. Exclusive merch will also be available.

"We both came into music from athletic backgrounds, and Tuck has several skateboards that he likes to play around with between shows, the duo said. "So, this partnership is a great intersection of so many of our favorite things."

Back in this universe, SOFI TUKKER will begin a North American tour in support of Bread 9/18 in Austin.

Meanwhile, HITS is still nursing a wonky ankle from the last time we got back on the board.
