PARKER'S POPPIN' OFF WITH PLATINUM PLAQUE

MCA Nashville's Parker McCollum just completed a weekend to remember. The country star celebrated his 32nd birthday on 6/15, the same day he opened for George Strait in front of a record-breaking 110,905 fans at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas.

Backstage, the artist was presented with a Recording Industry Association of America platinum-certification plaque for his Country airplay chart-topper "Burn It Down" by Red Light Management's Enzo DeVincenzo and Nick Rhodes, seen here flanking UMG Nashville Chair/CEO Cindy Mabe and McCollum.

Meanwhile, the only thing we've burnt is our blueberry Eggo waffle this morning.
