DIG IN: THE '24 ROOTS PICNIC IS A WRAP

The Roots Picnic went down in Philly over the weekend with performances by the likes of Nas, Jill Scott, Lil Wayne, Sexyy Red, André 3000, Gunna and, of course, The Roots. The annual musical extravaganza, held at The Mann in Fairmount Park 6/1-2, was the perfect way to kick off Black Music Month. This playlist features a number of the participants. While you're enjoying those sounds, scroll through our gallery for a few of the sights, captured exclusively for HITS by photographer Teo Zinn.
