As expected, Sabrina Carpenter is at the top of the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart for a fifth week with “Espresso” (Island), while over on the albums tally, Taylor Swift (pictured) has denied Twenty One Pilots their first #1.
“Espresso” remains the U.K.’s most-streamed song of the week with 7.7m plays. “BAND4BAND” (Columbia/Capitol/Motown), the first collaboration between Central Cee and Lil Baby, is the week’s highest new entry, at #4.
“BIRDS OF A FEATHER” (Interscope) by Billie Eilish rises four spots to a new peak of #5. Up-and-coming singer-songwriter Myles Smith has his first Top 10 with “Stargazing” (Sony Music), which jumps from #14 to #9.
On the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart, Swift’s THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT (EMI) is back up one to #1. The set spends its fourth nonconsecutive week at the top, with 58% of its weekly sales total made up of physical copies.
Despite sitting at #1 midweek, Clancy (Atlantic/Fueled by Ramen) by Twenty One Pilots lands at #2. It’s the band’s third Top 3 album in the U.K., matching its previous peak, achieved with Trench in 2018. The set is #1, however, on the Official Vinyl Albums Chart and the Official Record Store Chart.
Paul Weller also enjoys a Top 5 debut, with his 17th studio album, 66 (Polydor), landing at #4. Bring Me the Horizon has its fifth Top 10 with POST HUMAN: NeX GEn (RCA) at #5.
Just outside the Top 10, Manchester rapper Meekz is new at #12 with his third mixtape, Tru (NBR).
