J BALVIN JOINS INTERSCOPE CAPITOL MIAMI

Inside sources confirm that reggaeton legend J Balvin has signed with Interscope Capitol Miami. Nir Seroussi and his Interscope Miami team will run point, in collaboration with Tom March's Capitol. New music is expected later this year.

Balvin is the latest Latin star to join John Janick's ICLG, following KAROL G, Ivan Cornejo and Natanael Cano's Los CT.

The forthcoming album will be the first from the Roc Nation-repped hitmaker since 2021's JOSE, which was released through UMLE. Balvin generated massive buzz with his mainstage Coachella performance; he's currently in the middle of a sold-out European arena trek.

Balvin has appeared on some of the biggest Latin songs of the streaming era, including his own "Mi Gente" f/Beyoncé, "La CANCIÓN" w/Bad Bunny, "Con Altura" w/ROSALÍA and "I Like It" alongside Cardi B and Bad Bunny.
