TOP 50: A FOUR-WEEK SWEEP FOR SWIFT

Taylor Swift’s streak at #1 on the HITS Top 50 has stretched to a fourth week. Adding 260k to its total, THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT (Republic) surpasses 3.5m in activity—more than doubling that of its closest competition for the year’s biggest album to date. How many more weeks could Tay hold court atop the chart, especially now that she’s issued new D2C product? Take the over.

WMG’s Gunna lands the top debut with One of Wun at #2.

Big Loud/Mercury/Republic’s Morgan Wallen has two albums in the Top 5 as One Thing at a Time and Dangerous: The Double Album get a boost following the release of "I Had Some Help," Wallen’s new collab with Post Malone.

House Lipman has eight titles in the Top 20, including three by Swift, Wallen’s pair, Noah Kahan at #6, Malone at #12 and Ariana Grande at #14.

For its part, Warner Records has five albums in the Top 20: Zach Bryan’s two LPs, Benson Boone’s Fireworks & Rollerblades, Dua Lipa’s Radical Optimism (in its second week) and Teddy SwimsI’ve Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 1.5), which hits a new peak of #18.

pgLang/Interscope’s Kendrick Lamar maintains two albums in the Top 20 as his diss tracks rack up major streams.

Streeting this week are titles by Darkroom/Interscope’s Billie Eilish, RCA’s Cage the Elephant, Mercury/Republic’s ZAYN, Virgin’s Kate Hudson, NKOTB Music's New Kids on the Block and Universal Music Latino’s Álvaro Díaz.

In other news, multiple GOP politicians appeared at Donald Trump’s New York trial, but most forgot to bring an apple. Peep the full chart here.
