KINGS OF LEON HAVE A "FUN" TOURING SUMMER AHEAD

With the single "Mustang" in the Top 10 at Alternative and Top 5 at AAA and its parent album, Can We Please Have Fun, poised for a #1 debut in the U.K., Kings of Leon are setting the table for extensive worldwide touring this summer and fall.

Can We Please Have Fun, the family group’s ninth effort, is also their first on Love Tap/Capitol Records. They’re one of the first signings by Tom March, who was tapped as Chairman/CEO of Capitol Music Group in February—perhaps signaling that there’s still room for good, old-fashioned rock ’n’ roll bands at the Tower.

Guided by longtime manager Andy Mendelsohn (Full Stop) and booked by WME’s Robby Fraser in North America and Pete Nash internationally, KOL will soon take their show on the road for 14 European dates, including a high-profile 6/30 set at BST Hyde Park in London.

A 26-city North American tour presented by Live Nation will get underway 8/14 at Moody Center in Austin. Further stops on the trek include Kia Forum (8/22) in Los Angeles, New York’s Forest Hills Tennis Stadium (9/18) and Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena (9/26).
