SWIFT'S SECOND WEEK: STILL HUGE

Republic’s Taylor Swift spends a second week at #1 on the HITS Top 50 with THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT. Tay’s 11th album, which set records with a massive 2.6m in its opening week, logs 445k in week two—which on its own beats any other artist’s debut week in 2024. TTPD has already crossed 3m units in activity.

Stagecoach headliner Morgan Wallen rises to #2, with One Thing at a Time (Big Loud/Mercury/Republic) showing no signs of slowing down. Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album re-enters the Top 10.

Also posting two albums in the Top 10 are Future & Metro Boomin. The first of the duo’s two-part album series, WE DON’T TRUST YOU (Boominati/Freebandz/Republic/Epic), sits at #3; the sequel moves to #8.

OVO/Santa Anna’s PARTYNEXTDOOR scores the top debut this week with P4, which enters at #10 on 37k. AWAL jazz-pop chanteuse Laufey soars to #18 with The Goddess Edition of 2023's Bewitched, moving 14k in physical sales.

Streeting this week are new titles by Warner’s Dua Lipa, gamma.’s 4batz, Crush’s Sia and Columbia’s Dominic Fike.

Now, if you’ll excuse us, we have to check in on the adventures of Von ShitzInPantz. See the full chart here.
