HEADCOUNT, I AM A VOTER TEAM TO ROCK THE YOUTH

With the youth vote sure to factor heavily in the U.S. presidential election 11/5, two prominent, women-led nonprofit voting organizations are merging to reinforce their efforts to get young people to participate in democracy.

I am a voter will be merged into HeadCount, amplifying the orgs' efforts to mobilize young voters through tech and proprietary programs. This will allow HeadCount to expand its cultural footprint, established through initiatives with Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, Olivia Rodrigo, Ariana Grande and major sports leagues.

Upcoming activations will include Register a Friend Day on 6/4 and National Voter Registration Day on 9/17.

"At a time when potential youth voters don’t feel seen and their participation is questionable, our relationships across core cultural sectors, from music and entertainment to sports and fashion, will further our ability to meet young voters where they are," said HeadCount Executive Director Lucille Wenegieme.

I am a voter co-founders Mandana Dayani and Natalie Train said in a joint statement, "Along with the 20 years of critical infrastructure and programs HeadCount has built, this consolidation of expertise and resources promises to strengthen democracy and generate voter enthusiasm."
