STAPLETON GETS HIGHER ON SNL

Chris Stapleton was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live on 4/13, delivering Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance Grammy winner "White Horse" as well as "Mountains of My Mind." Both songs appear on his latest album, Higher (Mercury Nashville). Introduced by host Ryan Gosling, the country singer-songwriter charged through "White Horse" backed by a full band. He later delivered the intimate "Mountains" solo, accompanying himself on guitar.

Stapleton recently received five ACM nominations, including Entertainer and Album of the Year. The final round of voting kicked off Monday (4/15) and closes 4/22. The dick clark productions event will stream live on Prime Video from Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, Texas 5/16.
