iHEART AWARDS STREAMING ON HULU

The 2024 iHeart Radio Music Awards, which drew lots of eyeballs when it aired on Fox Monday night (4/1) from the Dolby Theatre in L.A., is streaming on Hulu until 4/22. (John Sykes has the ad-free Disney+/Hulu bundle, of course.)

To recap: Taylor Swift walked away with five trophies, including Artist of the Year and Pop Artist of the Year, while SZA took home Song of the Year for “Kill Bill” and three R&B awards. Peso Pluma swept the three Regional Mexican Awards. In the Pop categories, Miley Cyrus’ “Flowers” won for Song, Olivia Rodrigo’s GUTS landed Best Album and Jelly Roll was named Best New Artist in the Pop and Country categories.

In one of the show’s must-watch moments, Beyoncé received the Innovator Award from Stevie Wonder and proceeded to deliver a powerful acceptance speech. Other highlights included Cher being presented with the Icon Award and her surprise performance of “Believe” with Jennifer Hudson. Green Day received the Landmark Award.
