MARIAH JOINS SOUNDEXCHANGE HALL OF FAME

Mariah Carey will need to make space in her trophy room after being honored with the SoundExchange Hall of Fame Award as one of the most-streamed acts in the organization’s 20-year history.

“It should come as no surprise Mariah Carey is among SoundExchange’s most streamed creators – she is an accomplished artist who has reached cultural icon status and that is reflected in the data,” said SoundExchange president/CEO Michael Huppe. “Mariah has created an enduring catalog of incredible music that delights across generations. We are honored to present Mariah Carey with the SoundExchange Hall of Fame Award.”

Carey can presently be heard on the remix of Ariana Grande's "yes, and?," their first non-holiday collaboration since 2010's "Oh Santa" with Jennifer Hudson.

Her The Celebration of Mimi Live residency at Las Vegas' Dolby Park Live at Park MGM runs 4/12-27 and follows two prior stands at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, #1 to Infinity and The Butterfly Returns.
