LIVING THE DREAM (ACADEMY)

Results of the HYBE x Geffen global girl-group search and the group’s name will be revealed on The Debut: Dream Academy Live Finale, slated to air Friday, 11/17, at 7pm PT. The event will also be streamed live on HYBE’s YouTube channel, Weverse and ABEMA.

The finale will feature performances by the top 10 contestants, who will be divided into three groups, with each debuting an original song. The ultimate lineup of the girl group will be determined by a combination of early votes and real-time votes during the live finale, as well as evaluators’ scores. Early voting on Weverse is currently open and continues through 11/17 at 7:59 PT. Stay tuned for much breathless reporting on this front.

Fans have been following contestants who've participated in the yearlong audition process, which will be the subject of an upcoming Netflix documentary series directed by Nadia Hallgren (Becoming).

While shocking, we can confirm that a certain HITS writer did not progress to the finals after her performance tribute to Shields and Yarnell failed to impress.
