HILL CLIMBS AT CREATE

Create Music Group has named Mark Hill Jr. SVP of A&R and business development.

Noted Create CEO Jonathan Strauss, “Mark is at the forefront of music culture and has been paramount in the success at CMG,” while the company’s Co-Founder/Chief Business Operator Wayne Hampton added, “From the very beginning of his tenure here, Mark has been a powerhouse. His passion for music, his keen eye for talent and his ability to lead our teams, have made him an invaluable member of the A&R team.”

Hill joined Create in 2016 as an intern while pursuing a business degree at the University of Southern California. Over the last seven years, he helped build Create’s A&R department, signing artists like YNW Melly, Lucki, Fredo Bang and DeeBaby while cementing deals with 6ix9ine and Ice Spice. Meanwhile, we have yet to take a shower today.
