MIKE WiLL MADE-IT TEAMS UP WITH ESPN

Grammy-winning, multiplatinum producer Mike WiLL Made-It and Ear Drummers/Giant Music have teamed with ESPN to make WiLL the NBA's first lead music producer, starting with the 2023-24 season. The partnership kicked off with “Different Breed” f/Latto & Swae Lee.

The partnership will see the producer curate music throughout the NBA season, which kicked off with his new single, “Different Breed” f/Latto & Swae Lee premiering during the NBA Tip-off on 10/16. The track is available to stream here.

“It didn’t take us long to figure out that Atlanta music, Mike WiLL, and NBA on ESPN were a strong cultural fit,” said Curtis Friends, ESPN VP of Sports Marketing. “Mike WiLL Made-It is cooking up his recipe for the NBA on ESPN custom music strategy that will set the tone for fans throughout the season.”

Going on its third year, the NBA on ESPN custom music strategy has featured artists and producers who remix, produce and create music around major NBA moments. Year two included collaborations with Ty Dolla $ign, Janelle Monáe, G Eazy, Myke Towers, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie and more.
