COOKE-ING AT THE ROXY

Back Blocks/Big Loud’s Ashley Cooke took the stage at L.A.’s Roxy on 9/25, wrapping up the two-week West Coast run of her first headlining tour. The celebratory occasion—which took place on the heels of the famed theater’s 50th anniversary—came to an end when Cooke was corralled into this photo op with not one, but two HITS weasels. Seen wondering how we've survived for 37 years are (l-r) HITS’ Nicole Ghapgharan, Cooke, Big Loud’s Greg Thompson and HITS’ Todd Hensley. Later, Greg was informed that he’d posed for his 12,000^th trade photo, thus entitling him to a free soda-gun drink of his choosing (with the purchase of a beverage of equal or greater value).
