NFL EXPANDS PACT WITH NEON16 & NTERTAIN

The NFL has announced that, for a third consecutive year, it will partner with Lex Borrero and Tainy's NEON16 and its visual studio arm, Ntertain.

The partnership will include a multimedia series featuring music by NEON16 artists and producers. It will showcase the diversity and inclusivity of the NFL by bringing together Latino NFL players and NEON16 talent; the season's pact kicks off with a collaboration between La Firma finalist RMAND (right) and the Miami Dolphins' Braxton Berrios. RMAND will release the song "Nivel #0B," inspired by his experience working with the Miami wide receiver, who is of Puerto Rican descent. The track is set for release during Week 3 of the NFL regular season in the lead-up to the Dolphins' 9/24 Latino Heritage Month game and home opener. A second song recorded by another player-artist collaboration will debut later this season.

“We loved the concept of having our artists collaborate with Latino NFL players to create something as unique as an original song,” said Borrero, co-founder and CEO of NTERTAIN and NEON16. “While they share Latino heritage, we know that artists and athletes also share a common drive to succeed, the talent to shine and the work ethic to thrive in their respective careers. Unifying these traits and the mutual love of and respect for music has led to some incredible art that we can’t wait to share with fans this season.”

Said Marissa Solis, NFL SVP global brand and consumer marketing, “With more than 31m NFL fans in the U.S., there is no doubt that Latinos continue to fall in love with the sport of football every day. We want to inspire Latinos with the lyrics and melodies created by these talented NEON16 artists in the same way they get excited about a perfectly executed pass and catch for a touchdown.”

After learning this, we're now considering picking Tainy in the first round of our fantasy football drafts.
