JUNETEENTH: A GLOBAL CELEBRATION
Jesse Collins Entertainment and Live Nation Urban are producing a Juneteenth celebration at L.A.'s Greek Theatre 6/19 featuring an appearance by Vice President Kamala Harris.
Christened "Juneteenth: A Global Celebration for Freedom," the event will be broadcast on CNN and OWN with CNN anchors Sara Sidner, Van Jones and Stephanie Elam hosting. Adam Blackstone and Questlove will serve as the evening's musical directors.
Performers include Charlie Wilson, Miguel, Nelly, Jodeci, SWV, Davido, Coi Leray and many more. Chlöe Bailey, an NAACP Image Award winner and Grammy nominee, will pay tribute to Tina Turner.
Tickets to "Juneteenth" can be found via Ticketmaster. Sadly, we're still banned from the Greek following an unfortunate incident involving one too many shots.
