TAG, THEY'RE IT! SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has generated new enthusiasm for Florence + The Machine’s 2009 “Dog Days Are Over.” It’s got thumbs wagging on both sides of the Atlantic.

The Republic act’s biggest hit tops the Biggest Movers list on the Shazam U.S. Top 100 and is among the Top 5 gainers on the Shazam U.K. Top 100. It’s one of four Biggest Movers aided by a film/TV placement.

Last year’s Tom Hanks film, A Man Called Otto, has pushed two songs up the Shazam U.S. chart following its arrival on Netflix. Kate Bush’s “This Woman’s Work” (Fish People) from 1988 and “Til You’re Home” by songwriter-producer David Hodges also join the party. “Double Fantasy” by The Weeknd f/Future (XO/Republic) from Abel's upcoming HBO series, The Idol, makes the list as well.

Teenage Manhattan rapper Lil Mabu lands on the Biggest Mover list with his minute-and-a-half diatribe “Mathematical Disrespect,” perhaps the first rap in history to "spell out" "pi": "I own a hundred percent of my cuts, bitch/ Nobody takin' a fee/
3.141592653 I'm the king of NYC."

The U.K. chart is led by Tommee Profitt & Fleurie’s cover of Snow Patrol’s “Chasing Cars.”
