Música Mexicana sensation Natanael Cano has signed a deal with Downtown Music Services for his label imprint, Los CT, home to artists Gabito Ballesteros, Alejandro Buelna, Tyan G and more.
Downtown VP of Latin Ray Tapia worked hand-in-hand with Cano’s manager, Ramon Emilio Hernandez, to bring the partnership to life. The deal means Los CT's artists will have access to Downtown’s entire suite of services, including global distribution, marketing and sync licensing.
Said Cano, “I'm always very happy to work with people who supported me from the beginning. Now, being able to distribute my music with some of the same people who always believed in me, I'm extremely grateful and motivated to continue giving my all alongside the Downtown Music Services team.”
Tapia added, "We're thrilled to partner with Natanael Cano and the Los CT team. The Mexican music scene is undergoing a transformation, with an increasing number of collaborations and a growing number of artists attracting millions of monthly listeners. This genre remains one of, if not the most independent, and we are super-excited to have the opportunity to contribute to its success. Animo!"
Cano is attached to two tracks currently residing in the Top 50 of Spotify's global chart, "AMG" f/Peso Pluma & Ballesteros and Pluma's "PRC." Both tracks hit #1 in Mexico on Spotify.
Cano himself is signed to Rancho Humilde/Warner Latina.
