Questlove is assembling a tribute to the 50th anniversary of hip-hop for Sunday’s Grammy Awards ceremony.
The performance is part of an initiative to honor the 50th anniversary of hip-hop in partnership with Mass Appeal. Questlove said the performance will include "some of the biggest names from the genre coming together to celebrate hip-hop history—its past, its present, its future," but did not provide any names.
The crew is looking forward to a load-in of Technics SL-12000s—beats the hell out of carrying drums.
