GRAMMYS SET PREMIERE CEREMONY

The Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony—the pre-telecast event at which 90% of the trophies are handed out—will return to the Microsoft Theater, with Randy Rainbow as co-host. Entertainment will be provided by, among others, the Blind Boys of Alabama and La Marisoul, who will kick off the event, plus Arooj Aftab, Madison Cunningham, Samara Joy, Anoushka Shankar and Carlos Vives.

Babyface, DOMi & JD BECK, Myles Frost, Arturo O'Farrill, Malcolm-Jamal Warner and Jimmy Jam will serve as presenters. Recording Academy Chair of the Board of Trustees Tammy Hurt will provide opening remarks. All Premiere Ceremony performers and hosts are nominees this year.

Branden Chapman, Ruby Marchand, Chantel Sausedo and Rex Supa are producing the ceremony; Greg Fera is the executive producer and Cheche Alara is music producer and musical director.

The Premiere Ceremony starts at 3:30pm ET/12:30pm PT on 2/5 and will stream live on the Recording Academy's YouTube channel and live.GRAMMY.com.

City National Bank has signed on as the first-ever presenting sponsor of the event.
