Lee Laborde has joined AEG Presents U.K. as senior VP of its promoting division where he will head up the company’s team of promoters.
Laborde, who joins after 15 years at Live Nation, reports to AEG Presents U.K. CEO Steve Homer.
“Lee is someone I have known for many years and simply put, he is one of the best in the business—the roster of artists he works with are testament to that,” Homer said. “In 2022, our team delivered unprecedented success and his role will be instrumental in helping AEG Presents U.K. continue to grow and expand on this success even further.”
At Live Nation, Laborde worked with a number of big acts from the beginning of their careers, including Dua Lipa, Twenty One Pilots, Imagine Dragons and London Grammar.
Laborde’s appointment is the latest in a number of announcements and investments from AEG Presents U.K. Recently, the company tapped Chris Wareing and Paris Harding to build out its presence in the hip-hop and rap space and Lucy Noble joined as the first-ever artistic director. AEG has also recently opened a new venue, The Halls Wolverhampton, and invested into the comedy space, led by Georgie Donnelly.
