Women in Music, a nonprofit whose mission is to "educate, empower and advance women in the music industry," has announced that its WIM Summit 2023 will transpire 1/25-27 via Zoom, with some in-person activations taking place in chapter markets.
The event will highlight international leaders from several of the organization’s chapters, including those in South Africa, Nigeria, India and Canada. Women in Music President Nicole Barsalona plans to discuss "the most pressing issues" in the industry while providing "a safe and empowering space to learn and advance careers."
The third annual summit is free for Women in Music members; a ticketed option is available to non-members. Zoom links will be provided upon registration. All proceeds from ticket purchases go toward the organization's programs. Sign up on the Women in Music website and donate here. In the meantime, we'll be summiting this mound of leftover mashed potatoes.
