BEYONCÉ, BLIGE LEAD SOUL TRAIN NOMS

Beyoncé and Mary J. Blige lead the Soul Train Awards nominations with seven each, while Ari Lennox reeled in six and Lizzo and Chris Brown both netted five. Other notable nominees include Burna Boy, Muni Long and Steve Lacy, who all grabbed four.

Deon Cole will host the 2022 edition, to be taped in Las Vegas on 11/13 and aired 11/27 on BET.

Connie Orlando, BET’s EVP, Specials, Music Programming & Music Strategy, will oversee the annual show and serve as executive producer for BET with Jamal Noisette, VP, Specials & Music Programming. Jesse Collins is the executive producer along with Jesse Collins Entertainment’s Jeannae Rouzan–Clay and Dionne Harmon.
