TOP 20:
LIL BABY GOES BIG

Quality Control/Motown’s Lil Baby lands on top of this week’s HITS Top 50 as It’s Only Me tracks to first-week activity of over 200k. Red Hot Chili Peppers look solid at #3 with Return of the Dream Canteen (Warner), the band’s second release of 2022. The album is projected to collect north of 60k in activity and will open with the largest pure-sales total of the week.

Meanwhile, Bailey Zimmerman’s Leave the Light On (Warner Nashville) and The 1975’s Being Funny in a Foreign Language (Dirty Hit) will also debut in the Top 10, at #8 and #10, respectively. Backstreet Boys’ new Christmas album, A Very Backstreet Christmas (BMG), starts off in the Top 15, suggesting this may be the holiday title to watch this year.

Now, if you’ll excuse us, we have to return to our premature gorging on Halloween candy. We are no longer "fun size."
