2022 BET HIP HOP AWARDS: WINNERS & HIGHLIGHTS

The 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards, held at the Cobb Energy Center in Atlanta, aired on Tuesday night with Fat Joe hosting. Performers included Wu-Tang Clan, BLEU, French Montana, Jeezy, GloRilla and many, many others.

Kendrick Lamar was the big winner of the evening with six trophies in categories such as Lyricist of the Year, Hip Hop Album of the Year and Hip Hop Artist of the Year, while Latto walked away with Song of the Year for "Big Energy" and Baby Keem earned a Best Hip Hop Video win for "family ties." Drake won three awards.

Moments after Best DJ was awarded to DJ Drama, Pusha T delivered one of the most talked-about performances, bringing out his brother No Malice for a rendition of the Clipse classic "Grindin'," produced by The Neptunes' Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo.

Joey Bada$$, who released 2000 in July, then brought the amped crowd to an emotional peak with a performance of "Head High," which included a tribute to fallen rappers Nipsey Hussle, 2Pac, PnB Rock, Young Dolph, Pop Smoke and Biggie, among others.

Viewers likely jumped out of their seats when Fat Joe kicked off the LOUD Records tribute featuring label founder Steve Rifkind, dead prez, Mobb Deep's Havoc, Lil Kim, M.O.P., Lil Flip, David Banner, Project Pat, Three 6 Mafia and Fat Joe himself before Wu-Tang Clan's Method Man, Raekwon, RZA and Inspectah Deck brought the house down with "C.R.E.A.M.," "Ain't Nuthin Ta F Wit" and "M.E.T.H.O.D. Man."

Trick Daddy presented the I Am Hip Hop Award to Trina and Columbia's Lil Tjay, who barely survived a shooting earlier this year, showed up during Fivio Foreign's set.

Note all the winners below as we replay the LOUD tribute, loudly.
