STYLES, BUSH AND BUNNY DOMINATE THE SUMMER
Spotify has compiled two 2022 Songs of Summer Top 20 lists, one global, one U.S.
Harry Styles’ “As It Was” is Spotify’s global top Song of Summer, with more than 610m streams between 5/29 and 8/29. Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” is right behind it. But it's Bad Bunny who dominates the planetary Top 10.
B-Bun has five songs thereon, led by “Me Porto Bonito” at #3 and “Titi Me Pregunto” at #4. The former was #1 in 14 Spanish-speaking countries, Mexico, Chile and Colombia among them.
In the U.S., Bush’s 37-year-old track topped the list, with “As It Was” coming in second. Styles and Bunny had two songs each in the Top 10, which also numbers cuts by Joji, Steve Lacy, Drake & 21 Savage, Post Malone & Doja Cat and Lizzo.
