HITS' 36TH ANNIVERSARY
SPECIAL: RETURN OF
THE BÊTE NOIRE

If we had to sum it up in a single word, we'd say "dignity."

Just as this classic photo finds Reprise promo guy Bob Divney wearing a giant felt Valentine heart to promote a single by the impeccably urbane Bryan Ferry (in hopes of an add from WFLY Albany's Michael Morgan), we at HITS strive at all times for gravitas.

And as we prepare to celebrate the solemn milestone that is our 36th Anniversary, know that our own crudely fashioned and dangerously oversized hearts are resolute. As with the promo hitters of yore, there is no wading pool of goop, no travesty of attire, no degrading trend we will not leap into to win you over as we prepare a special issue that honors our traditions of taste and decorum.

In other words: Hey buddy!
