Def Jam newbies Armani White, SwaVay and 26AR—along with 4TH & BROADWAY breakout rappers Young Devyn and Lil Migo—have teamed up with Hot 97 for the “Who’s Next” showcase.
"Who's Next" provides a platform for emerging talent; Cardi B, The Weeknd, Drake and Megan Thee Stallion are among the acts who performed on the showcase's stage early in their careers.
“'Who’s Next’ is a pivotal part of who we are at Hot 97,” ventured TT Torrez, Hot 97 VP of artist & label relations. “Offering a platform for new artists to showcase their talent and find new fans is core to what we represent: a strong respect for and commitment to hip-hop music. We’ve sorely missed the ‘Who’s Next’ showcases during the pandemic and can think of no better partner to reignite this series than the legendary Def Jam.”
Hosted by Fabolous, the event will take place 9/14 at SOB's in New York City, bringing its three-year hiatus to a resounding, speaker-rattling close. Despite the name of the venue, we have been instructed to stay away.
