HOOPS HONCHO TO LEAD OVG EAST COAST

Oak View Group has named Kim Stone president of UBS Arena in Belmont Park, N.Y., and EVP of OVG East Coast. The first female president of an OVG arena, she starts 8/1.

Stone, who served in executive leadership roles with the Miami Heat and Golden State Warriors, will be responsible for all OVG East Coast owned and operated properties, including Baltimore Arena, which is scheduled to open in February. She will report to the board of managers of UBS Arena and Francesca Bodie, president of business development for OVG.

Stone’s experience touches almost every aspect of team business, including strategic oversight of revenue-generating functions such as corporate partnerships, food and beverage, season-ticket renewals and concert programming.
