BROOKE EDEN AND CONGRESSMAN CICILLINE TALK LGBTQ+

Broken Bow Records artist Brooke Eden recently joined Congressman David Cicilline, Chair of the Congressional LGBTQ+ Equality Caucus, for a Pride conversation.

The panel, part of Eden’s Music Matters With RIAA partnership, was moderated by RIAA VP of Federal Public Policy Tom Clees. Eden and Cicilline discussed representation in the arts and the work they’re doing in their respective fields to advance it, among other topics.

Eden also shared the message behind “Left You for Me” from her upcoming EP, Choosing You, which drops on 7/29. Earlier this month, she debuted the track at CMA Fest before performing at the Pride Pit Stop Presented by Soap & Glory in New York, as well as the city's Pride March and on NBC’s Today.

“Bringing Brooke’s powerful story out into the community and connecting artists and policymakers for authentic, honest moments is the perfect way to celebrate Pride and allow the worlds of music and politics to learn and grow together,” said RIAA VP of Artist and Industry Relations Jackie Jones.
