Harry Styles repeats at #1 on the HITS Top 50, as the Columbia superstar’s set, Harry’s House, posts 154k in its second week. Styles’ third album already leads 2022 in pure sales, powered by a record-setting vinyl sales week in its debut. House is now at 828k in total activity and in the Top 5 YTD.
Another of the year’s bestsellers, Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti (Rimas), stands strong at #2 with 139k units; Bunny’s blockbuster is now at 784k for the year. Prior #1 sets from pgLang/TDE/Aftermath/Interscope’s Kendrick Lamar and Freebandz/Epic’s Future move to #3 and #4, respectively.
Heartland favorites Morgan Wallen and Zach Bryan are at #5 and #6 with their 30-plus-track albums, Dangerous (Big Loud/Mercury) and American Heartbreak (Warner).
Top debuts go to Mercury's Def Leppard, RCA’s Tate McRae and Interscope’s Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack—all of which crack the Top 20—while Kate Bush’s Hounds of Love (Noble & Brite/Parlophone) sees U.S. chart action for the first time since its release in 1985, thanks to its pivotal appearance in Netflix’s debuting fourth season of Stranger Things.
Streeting this week are new titles from Mercury/Republic’s Post Malone, Legacy’s Prince and Imperial’s Bo Burnham.
In other news, we could really use another long weekend, stat. See the HITS Top 50 here.
