OYE COMO DOCUMENTARY

Imagine Documentaries and Sony Music Entertainment are producing and financing a documentary on Carlos Santana. Sony Music will distribute the film, which is already in production.

"I'm honored and grateful to have partnered with Imagine Documentaries and Sony Music to bring my story to light,” said Santana. “The intention of this film is to touch people's hearts and inspire them to re-connect with their own light that they may ignite blessings and miracles.”

Emmy-winning Mexican American filmmaker Rudy Valdez is the documentary's director, with Ashley Kahn (Miles Davis: The Birth of Cool) among its producers. Tom Mackay and Richard Story are executive producers for Sony Music Entertainment.

Said Mackay, SME President of Premium Content: “Through this new project in partnership with Imagine Entertainment, we look forward to showcasing the breadth and lasting impact of Santana's story for audiences globally. Speaking of globally, you should have seen my drive on the 14th at St. Andrews back in 2017.”
