Arcade Fire will open London’s newly refurbished KOKO on 4/29 to celebrate the release of its sixth album, WE (Columbia). Central Cee is also on the bill for the opening weekend.
KOKO is reopening following a £70m restoration and redevelopment, which closed the Camden venue for three years. It has been transformed from a historic Victorian theater into a 50k-square-foot state-of-the-art live-music venue and broadcasting facility.
Ibiza deep house act Luciano will do a show on 4/30, while Central Cee will perform two sets on 5/1. Others set to take the stage at KOKO in the coming months include Chase & Status, Flume, Gabriels, Lianne La Havas, King Promise, Let’s Eat Grandma and more.
Arcade Fire last played London in 2018.
