U.K. MIDWEEKS: WET LEG EYES #1

Newcomer Wet Leg is heading toward #1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart with its self-titled debut on Domino. Over on singles, Jack Harlow and Harry Styles are competing for the top spot.

At the halfway point, Wet Leg is outselling its closest competition by 4:1. The pair's debut is ahead on physical sales and is the most-downloaded album of the week so far.

Father John Misty’s Chloë and the Next 20th Century (Bella Union) is also new at #2 today, as is Jack White’s Fear of the Dawn (Third Man), at #3.

Kae Tempest has the final new entry in today’s Top 5 with what could be its first Top 10 album, The Line Is a Curve (Fiction), at #4.

Elsewhere in the Top 10, Camila Cabello’s Familia (Epic) starts at #7, and Joe Satriani is #9 with The Elephants of Mars (Edel).

On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, Harlow’s “First Class” (Atlantic) leads the race, with Styles close behind with last week’s chart-topper, “As It Was” (Columbia).

Pink Floyd’s “Hey, Hey, Rise Up!” (Parlophone), released to benefit Ukraine and featuring Ukrainian Andriy Khlyvnyuk, could debut at #5. If it holds onto its midweek peak, the track will be the band’s first Top 10 single in 43 years; “Another Brick in the Wall” hit #1 in 1979.

“Crazy What Love Can Do” (Warner Music U.K.) from David Guetta, Ella Henderson and Becky Hill could also be on track for a Top 20 debut; it’s currently #16.
