GRAMMY ADDS BALVIN, LEGEND, CARRIE, SILK, MORE TO PERFORMERS LIST

Silk Sonic will open Sunday's 64th annual Grammy Awards.

The latest round of performers heading for the MGM Grand Garden Arena also includes John Legend, Carrie Underwood and J Balvin, who will take the stage with Argentine singer María Becerra.

The inclusion of contemporary Christian act Maverick City Music, tropical Latin artist Aymée Nuviola and bluegrass guitarist Billy Strings, who will appear in special segments showcasing Las Vegas, will spotlight genres not historically represented on the Grammy Awards telecast.

The CBS show will start at 5pm PT/8pm ET.
