Billie Eilish's stellar Academy Awards performance with brother/collaborator FINNEAS of the James Bond theme "No Time to Die" (which earned the pair a couple of statuettes for Best Original Song) has spurred some new marketplace action for the Darkroom/Interscope superstar's cut going into the Grammys.
According to the label, on 3/28 the song earned 560k global streams on Spotify, a 98%+ gain, and 131k at Apple (+47%), not to mention nearly 2.4k in sales at iTunes (+542%). How much more activity will DVR and online viewing drive as praise for the performance spreads across the socials?
In other post-Oscars news, we'd like to issue a heartfelt apology for all the jokes that made you want to slap us.
