TAG, THEY'RE IT! SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Smells like teen Shazam. Nirvana’s “Something in the Way” (DGC), from its 1991 breakthrough, Nevermind, has lit up Gotham City and the rest of the U.S. after its use in The Batman.

The first Nirvana song ever licensed for a film, for 2005's Jarhead, "Something in the Way" is used twice in the blockbuster film and appears in the trailer as well, giving Shazammers ample opportunity to point their phones at the big screen. Another vintage track capturing their attention based on its use in a film is Pete Townshend’s 1980 hit “Let My Love Open the Door” (Eel-Pie/UMG), which can be heard in Netflix’s The Adam Project.

Two new singles make it onto the Shazam USA Top 100 Biggest Movers list: Island-bound SleazyWorld Go’s “Sleazy Flow” (SleazyWorld) and Camila Cabello and Ed Sheeran’s “Bam Bam” (Epic). For its part, Kevin Gates’ nine-year-old “Thinking With My Dick” (BWA) is a TikTok sensation.

Harry Styles’ “Falling” is holding steady among the U.K.’s greatest gainers.
