When we publish our Top 50 this afternoon, Morgan Wallen's Dangerous: The Double Album (Big Loud/Republic) will have spent 58 non-consecutive weeks in the Top 10, falling out only once, in the week ending 12/23/21 (when five Christmas albums pushed it down to #12). This ties the record for most weeks in the Top 10 by a country album, set by Taylor Swift when the O.G. Fearless (Big Machine/BMLG) logged 58 weeks between November 2008 and February 2010. Fearless needed 68 weeks total to hit that milestone; Dangerous achieves the feat in 59. Wallen's sophomore set is a lock to break the record next week and will likely add a few more weeks beyond that. To date, total activity for Dangerous is 4.5 million. Big Loud's Seth England is said to be filling his hot tub with Pappy Van Winkle.
