REMSBERG ROLLS TO WARNER RECORDS

Josh Remsberg has joined Warner Records as Senior Vice President, Commercial Revenue, tasked with developing and executing the company’s new-release and long-term sales strategy and artist campaigns in streaming, digital and commercial platforms and accounts.

Remsberg, who spent two decades at Universal Music Group, will report to Warner Records EVP, Promotion & Commerce, Mike Chester. He's based at the label’s L.A. headquarters.

“Josh is one of the most respected and accomplished execs in our business,” Chester said. “He’s worked across musical genres and generations, from superstars to emerging artists, and he brings a wealth of experience and perspective to his post.”

Most recently SVP, Commerce & Business Development at Capitol Records, Remsberg worked on projects there by Paul McCartney, Katy Perry, Halsey and many others. He was also a co-leader of the company’s business-development and innovation team.

Remsberg joined UMG in 2001 as a college rep. He's also held positions at Geffen Records, Republic and Motown.
