Also on Friday Norah Jones will release two videos of songs from Let It Be filmed with her band atop the Empire State Building; her clips for “I’ve Got a Feeling” and “Let It Be” will debut on Jones’ YouTube channel at 9am PST/noon EST.
On Saturday, at 6am PST/9am EST, Cirque du Soleil will debut on its YouTube channel a rooftop-tribute video featuring the version of “Get Back” from The Beatles: Love and starring cast members from the stage production.
On Sunday, Disney/Apple Corps Ltd./WingNut will present a special screening of The Beatles: Get Back–The Rooftop Concert at IMAX theaters in the U.S. and U.K. The 60-minute feature showcases The Beatles’ complete rooftop performance. And in March, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will host an exhibit titled The Beatles: Get Back to Let It Be, an immersive complement to Peter Jackson’s “Get Back” docuseries. Set to open on 3/18 and run for a year, it will allow fans to step into The Beatles’ January 1969 rehearsals and sessions and experience the band’s final performance surrounded by large-scale projections and superior sound.
