GELAW GETS CREATIVE AT SONY PUBLISHING

Sony Music Publishing has named Ari Gelaw Vice President, Creative. Based in the company’s New York office, she will report to Senior Vice President, Creative, Ian Holder.

Gelaw will be responsible for advancing songwriter development for Sony Music Publishing’s U.S. roster. She will also foster creative collaboration with global territories and support songwriter discovery initiatives.

Said Holder, “Ari’s commitment to songwriters and the creative community is nothing less than admirable. She represents the culture we are dedicated to building here at SMP.”

Gelaw was most recently Director of A&R at Universal Music Publishing Group, where she signed Megan Thee Stallion, DaBaby and Coi Leray.
