The second posthumous album from Juice WRLD, Fighting Demons (Grade A/Interscope), is the lone new entry cracking the Top 10 at iTunes and Apple Music this Flipover Friday.
Released nearly two years after his death, Fighting Demons is #2 in sales and #7 in streams, while “Girl of My Dreams” f/SUGA & BTS is #4 at iTunes songs.
In a light release week, two artists who took the world by storm at the dawn of the century open in the iTunes Top 10; Alicia Keys’ eight studio album, the double set KEYS (AK Worldwide/RCA), is #5, followed by Norah Jones’ first holiday collection, I Dream of Christmas (Deluxe) (Blue Note), at #7.
As the sun rises over his hood ornament, Neil Young’s 41st album, Barn (Reprise), opens at #8; it’s his 12th set with Crazy Horse. Monsta X’s The Dreaming (Starship/BMG) rounds out the Top 10.
With a rush of Christmas albums filling slots, a new release from Rick Ross and the West Side Story and Halo Infinite soundtracks sit just outside the Top 10.
At Apple Music, Russ’ Chomp 2 (Russ My Way), is #8.
Meanwhile, a synch on HBO’s Sex and The City reboot, And Just Like That, has pushed Todd Rundgren’s 1972 version of “Hello, It’s Me” into the Top 20 at iTunes. Who knew Carrie and Big had such good taste?
